Congress and Midterm Elections
There were midterm elections on November 8th, in the US. It held every two years, in the middle of the president’s four-year term. Congress plays a role to make laws for the country. It is divided into House of Representatives and the US Senate. Senate has 100 members two per state, they can serve six-year terms. Meanwhile, House has 435 members, they can work two-year terms and act for smaller area in each state. Both should pass a bill before it’s signed into law by president. The task about taxes is treated by House of Representatives and the rest needs to obtain Senate’s approval. There are two major parties in the USA, which are the Democratic and the Republican. In fact, this midterm elections are very important to two parties as well because it determines who hold a large majority. Children also can practice participating in elections at school and home. For example, you can listen to each other's opinions and vote on which movie to watch with your family.
Love Care
Kevin Love is a basketball champion player. When he was young, he was having a hard time from anxiety so, panic attacked him. Based on his experience, he founded ‘Love Fund’ for teenagers and young people to help alleviate their mental problems. So, they made emotional learning program for the young to envisage and recover their emotions. He thought paying it forward is significant to love and letting youth become aware of they are not alone.
Daylight Saving Time
Daylight saving time is on Sunday, November 6th. 70 countries observe daylight saving time except for Hawaii and most of Arizona.

A girl monkey was born in St. Louis Zoo, the Francois Langer is just one month old. She has bright orange fur, however, when she reaches about six months old, her fur will turn into black.
Giving a New Foot
High school students in Racine made a prosthetic foot to a dog. They were worried if they could do well because the dog is a living creature. However, they made it and learned that there is no limit to being willing to challenge.
