A Fighting Better Method to Virus

  We can be sick because of covid, the common cold, the flu, a sore throat, and a stomach bug. When we are sick, our immune system is working hard to fight off the virus. How should we fight them off well? First, sleep. Sleep slows down other functions; this saves energy so your immune system can keep fighting to help you feel better. Next, medicine can relieve symptoms like coughing, fever, or a sore throat. The most significant thing when we are sick, stay hydrated. Water helps the immune system create more antibodies, in fact, antibodies are like soldiers who are fight off the virus. Last, food gives your body energy to fight the virus. If you lose your appetite, try eating plain foods like crackers or toast, but it is better to have a comforting bowl of chicken noodle soup. It thins the mucus in your nose and throat to make you less congested and it helps hydrate you. It can help you better faster if you mix all these tools together.

However, He could work Drake’s from the age of 16. Although he could not find a job, he was invited to orientation of Drake’s. Amazingly, he got that Xbox, which was a new game he had wanted as a gift. His mom advised us if you want something go, go get it.

Sister Scientists

  Leanne Fan, 14-year-old girl from California, is the winner of the 3M young scientist challenge for inventing a device to help kids to fight ear infections. In fact, her mother is suffering from ear infections, so she decides to invent the device. She wants to find a method that children would enjoy because they don’t always want to swallow a huge antibiotic pill or have antibiotics in their ears. Therefore, she came up with headphones, it’s way of entertainment while detecting and treating their ear infections. The headphones use sound to find out it they have ear infections. If they have ear infections, they can turn on the blue light. It can be used to kill bacteria on the surface of their eardrum. Her mentor Dr. Ross says blue light therapy is an effective remedy for treating and killing bacteria instead of taking antibiotics. Bacteria cannot develop resistance to blue light, and it has no side effects as well. Her older sister Cara won first place back in 2019. She invented nano silver liquid bandage, which killed bacteria. Sister scientists hope to work together someday. They are encouraging other kids to get involved in science and dream big. They think science can change lives of lots of people in the future. They advised us if you have ideas, keep going and trying to do it.
